The Consortium for Holistic Studies, founded in 1997, was initially created as a clearinghouse for integrative health. Focus has shifted to studying psychology of holistic thought in socio-historical contexts which asks questions about the individual, where the individual meets the collective, and how social change occurs. Areas of focus include studying psychology of holistic thought, integrative health consulting, emerging therapies, and creating communities.
